Palak Paneer

Read this recipe in Marathi 
Servings : 2 to 3 Persons 

1 bunch of Spinach (200 grams)
1 cup water
50 grams Paneer
½ cup grated or finely chopped onion.
1 tspn ginger-garlic paste.
2 pinch garam masala
1-2 green chillies
¼ tspn turmeric powder
¼ tspn cumin powder
1/4tspn corinder powder
¼ tspn dry mango powder
1 tbspn yogurt
1 tbspn grated cheese (optional)
2 tbspn oil
salt to taste 

1. Pluck spinach leaves and wash them thoroughly.
2. Boli 1 cup of water in a saucepan and Add spinach leaves. Add a pinch of salt. Steam cook spinach for 5 minutes.
3. Grind steamed spinach into fine paste with green chilly and remaining water.
4. Cut paneer into small cubes. In a bowl add 1 tspn of chikpeas flour and 1tspn of rice flour. Make a soft batter using 2 tbspn of water. Dip paneer cubes in the batter and shallow fry till golden brown.
5. Heat oil in a saucepan. stir ginger-garlic paste. When you smell a nice aroma add onion. Stir for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add corinder powder, cumin powder,garam masala and turmeric powder and stir well.
7. Add spinach paste and dry mango powder. Stir well and bring it to boil.
8. Add a little water if you don't want it thick. Add 1 tbspn of yogurt and mix well.
9. Add 1 tbspn of cheese for nice taste.
10. Add fried paneer cubes 10 minutes before serving so that paneer won't break.
