Pithla

Read this recipe in Marathi 
Servings: 2 to 3 persons 

Ingredients: 
½ cup chickpea flour
1½ cup water
1 cup finely chopped onion
2 green chilies
½ tspn cumin seeds
4-5 garlic cloves
½ tspn turmeric powder
3 tbspn coriander leaves chopped
3 tbspn oil 

Method:
1. Heat oil in wok. Add cumin seeds. Add chopped green chilies and chopped garlic.
When garlic turns pink add chopped onion. Stir for 2-3 minutes. Add turmeric powder. Stir well.
2. In a bowl mix chickpea flour with water. Avoid flour lumps. Add salt to the batter.
3. Pour this batter in the wok. Mix well and bring it to boil. As it starts boiling ,it will become thick. Cover wok with alid and let it cook for 1-2 minutes.
4. Add more water if you feel pithala more thick. Serve hot pithla with bhakri.
