Ingredients:
1 cup basmati rice
2 cups water
1 medium onion,finely chopped
1 ½ cup chopped coriander leaves
3-4 garlic cloves
1-2 green chilies
¼ tspn black pepper
1 pinch MSG
4 tbspn oil
Method:

Method:
1. Grind coriander leaves, garlic cloves and green chilies to paste Wash and soak rice.
2. Heat oil in a cookware. Add chopped onion and stir for 2-3 minutes.Add coriander leaves-chilly paste. Add salt and MSG. Stir for 2-3 minutes.
3. Keep that mixture aside. Wipe and clean the same cookware with paper.
Heat 2 tbspn oil in the same cookware. Add soaked rice and stir till rice grains separate. Then add hot water exactly double the amount of rice. (here 2 cups). Add salt and close the cookware with tight lid. Let the rice cook completely. Remove the lid and let the rice become completely cool. Fluff rice with a fork to get a fluffy rice with separate grains.
4. Add spoon by spoon onion-coriander leaves mixture to the rice and mix gently. Sprinkle some pepper and mix well. Steam cook coriander rice on low heat for 5 minutes. And serve hot.
