Vegetable fried Rice

Read this recipe in Marathi
Servings : 2 to 3 Persons 

Ingredients: 
1 ½ cup basmati rice
1 cup finely chopped onion
¼ cup finely chopped carrots
¼ cup finely chopped green beans
¼ cup finely chopped spring onion
¼ tspn black pepper
1 pinch MSG
1 tbspn soya sauce
1 tspn vinegar
salt to taste
¼ cup oil

Method: 

1. Wash and soak rice. Heat 2 tbspn oil in a cookware. Add soaked rice and stir till rice grains separate. Then add hot water exactly double the amount of rice. ( here 2 cups). Add salt and close the cookware with tight lid. Let the rice cook completely. Remove the lid and let the rice become completely cool. Fluff rice with a fork to get fluffy rice with separate grains.
2. Heat oil n a small saucepan. Add chopped onion. Stir for 2 minutes then add chopped carrots and chopped green beans. Add soya sauce, vinegar, MSG and salt. Cook vegetables till half done.
3. Add spoon by spoon stirred vegetables to the rice and mix gently. Sprinkle some pepper and mix well. Steam cook fried rice on low heat for 5 minutes. And serve hot with any Chinese gravy.
