Ingredients:
4 eggs
For grinding-
1 medium onion sliced+ ½ cup dry coconut+ ¼ tspn kanda-lasun masala
3 tbspn finely chopped onion
1 tspn ginger-garlic paste
1 ¼ tspn red chilly powder
1 tomato chopped
3 tbspn oil
Method:
1. heat 1 tbspn oil in a wok and fry onion till golden brown. Add dry coconut and kanda lasun masala. Stir till it becomes brown. Grind whole mixture to make a fine paste.
2. Boil 3 eggs out of 4 and keep 1 egg aside to use later in the gravy.
3. Heat oil in a saucepan. Add finely chopped onion and stir till it becomes soft and translucent. Add tomato,ginger- garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilly powder and stir till oil coming out from the mixture.
4. Add coconut-onion paste and stir. Add some water to make gravy thin. Bring it to boil and add 1 egg. Gentely mix egg in the gravy. Put a lid on saucepan and let the egg cook for 2-3 minutes.

ReplyDelete1. Can fresh coconut ("ole khobare") be used instead of dry? Is it better or worse..
2.Can ready-made egg curry masala power be used instead of kanda-lasun masala?
