Servings: 4 to 5 Persons

Ingredients:
For stuffing-
2 to 3 medium potatoes
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 medium tomato
1 1/2 tspn garlic paste
1 tspn pavbhaji masala
1 1/2 tspn coriander seeds powder
3/4 tspn cumin seeds powder
1 tspn chilly powder
1/4 tspn garam masala
salt to taste
2 to 3 tbspn oil
For garnishing-
hand full spicy roasted peanuts ( rub little oil, salt and red chilly powder to peanuts and then roast them)
1/2 cup pomegranate kernels (anar dane)
5-6 grapes,chopped
1 tspn coriander leaves,chopped
1 cup nylon shev
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
10-12 buns (pavbhaji buns)
salted butter for roasting buns

Method:
1. Boil potatoes. Peel and mash them. Avoid lumps. Heat oil in a wok. Add garlic paste. Add chopped onion and stir till soft and translucent.
2. Add chopped tomato and stir. Add red chilly powder, pavbhaji masala, garam masala ,coriander seeds powder ,cumin seeds powder and salt. Stir till you see oil coming out from the mixture.
3. Then add mashed potatoes and mix well. Now your stuffing is ready. Put it in a deep plate. Garnish it with spicy peanuts, pomegranate kernels, chopped grapes and coriander leaves. I didn't have pomegranate kernels when I made dabeli. But if you have pomegranate kernels then you can use them. Dabeli tastes really good with them.
4. Give horizontal cut from middle of the bun. Don't give full cut. From inside spread some spicy mint chutney to both the sides. Then spread sweet tamarind chutney. Put a spoon full of stuffing. Put some chopped onion, spicy peanuts, pomegranate kernels, some chopped grapes and nylon shev. Close the bun and roast both the sides with butter. Serve hot.
