Gujrati Buttermilk Kadhi

Servings : 4 Persons

Ingredients: 
1 ½ cup yogurt
½ cup water
1 tspn chickpea floor 
For tempering-
½ tspn cumin
2 green chilies
3-4 cloves
1” cinnamon stick
5-6 black pepper 
1 tbspn ghee
2 tspn sugar 
Salt to taste 

Method:
1. Beat yogurt in a bowl. Add chickpea floor, salt, sugar, water and mix well. Avoid lumps.
2. Give heat to the mixture. Stir continuously, do not boil buttermilk. Turn off the heat just few seconds before it starts boiling.
3. Heat ghee in a small saucepan. Add green chilies into 2-3 pieces. Add cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon stick and cumin. Immediately give tadka to the kadhi.
4. Serve kadhi with rice or
Moong dal khichadi.
